I used crochet hook size 2 mm with sport yarn,160 m/ 50 g. The finished doll is 23 cm tall when standing and 17 cm tall when sitting. You can use the same pattern to make smaller or larger toy by using finer or bulkier yarn. The hook and the yarn size are not really important, as long as the hook suitable with yarns.
