OMG, what a cutie!

This adorable, cuddly amigurumi rainbow is sure to brighten up your home and make your couch the place to be!

The ButterflyLove Amigurumi Rainbow Plush pdf knitting pattern gives you clear step by step instructions to make your own cute plush/mini-cushion.

This pattern only involves knitting flat and is suitable for a beginner knitter. You can also contact me at any point if you need technical advice or have any other queries. If working to the recommended tension, you are likely to create an amigurumi rainbow plush approximately 18.5 inches (47cm) wide at its widest point, and approximately 9 inches (23cm) high at its highest point.

What you will need:

2 knitting needles (US2.5/3mm or as per tension advice)
Yarn A - 10g Paintbox Cotton DK 443 ‘Tea Rose’
Yarn B - 10g Paintbox Cotton DK 441 ‘Royal Blue’
Yarn C - 10g Paintbox Cotton DK 435 ‘Kingfisher Blue’
Yarn D - 15g Paintbox Cotton DK 430 ‘Grass Green’
Yarn E - 15g Paintbox Cotton DK 424 ‘Mustard Yellow’
Yarn F - 20g Paintbox Cotton DK 420 ‘Blood Orange’
Yarn G - 25g Paintbox Cotton DK 415 ‘Pillar Red’
Two black toy safety eyes (18mm)
200g Polyfil toy stuffing
1 tapestry needle for finishing

The more rigid cotton yarn will create a twist in the plush when it’s sewn shut that makes two little ‘feet’. If you’d prefer a flatter finish, use a more elastic manmade yarn such as Stylecraft Special DK.

Skills used: Casting on and off, Increasing and Decreasing

Stitches used: Stocking stitch
