DESCRIPTION
The Ana Crochet Pocket Shawl Pattern pairs simplicity with a pop! The bobble like, pineapple stitch creates an eye catching pocket and center detail.
This pocket shawl crochets up quickly in chunky weight yarn. Which means, you can make it and wear it this season!
• MATERIALS
635-762 yds/581-697m of #5 bulky weight yarn, pictured in Lion’s Pride Woolspun (discontinued); Color Made Easy is a suitable substitute and they even have a similar purple color called Ultra Violet.
For reference, modeled pictures show a 5′ 2″ woman wearing a 48″ long shawl made with 635 yds (including pockets) of #5 bulky weight yarn.
7mm crochet hook, or hook needed to meet gauge
yarn needle, scissors, measuring tape
SIZING
48” long when laid flat x 13” wide
STITCHES/SKILLS
Extended hdc, Pineapple Cluster stitches are linked with tutorials.
GAUGE
4”/10cm x 4”/10cm = 9 ehdc x 5.5 rows of ehdc
