Angel 2.0 is a heavily cabled shrug featuring strategically placed transitions from a simple 2x2 rib to a cabled rib, Open Cable, Saxon Braid, Barrington Braid, and finally an Angel Braid then all the way back again.

The culmination of the piece is a stunning 16-strand cabled braid - the Angel Braid- that is repeated twice for most sizes and lays across your back. While it looks incredibly intricate, because you start with a simple rib and work the transitions as you go, by the time you get to it you’re already comfortable with the intricate nature of the cable.

The ability to read charts is recommended for this pattern, although you could write out the instructions for the braids. It’s also recommended to learn how to cable without a cable needle. This pattern is perfect for a first or second endeavour at that as it will give you lots of practice with none of the cables using more than 4 stitches.

Using Twinkle by Stunning Strings Studio, you will literally sparkle every time you wear it thanks to the silver thread woven into the yarn! And since it uses 2 strands of yarn held together, your choices of colour are almost limitless using the over 170 stock colours available!
There is also customizing options regarding the size to allow a fit for almost any height!

This is an intermediate level pattern but you will be amazed at how easily and well it knits up once you get going!
