It uses basic stitches, a basic knowledge of crochet is assumed.
Gauge is not important. I crochet to a normal tension & mine came out at just over 14” tall approx.
but adjusting the hook size further will adjust the size.

Red– 100g DK
White & Brown- 50g
Small Amounts- Dark brown, yellow & black.
