This Scottish doll has a simple shape but some interesting pattern details. Slip stitches provide the ‘tartan’ effect and it would be easy to customise the colourway. There is an Aran sweater with basic cabling on the body and sleeves. The red bobble hat is a nod to the late great Tom Weir; his statue in Balmaha is seldom seen without one.
This would make an ideal gift and the squishy body makes it perfect for cuddles.
