Inspired by the Ankara’s Citadelle, Ankara socks are cuff-down ankle socks with an easy and fun picot hem.

Latvian braids compensate for the lack of stretch in the picot cuff, making the socks fit perfectly.

The textured stitches between the braids remind me of the moucharabieh that can be seen in the streets of Ankara’s old town.
