The first part of Anker’s Bonnet is worked back and forth in rib segments. Then the back of the head is worked in the round in stockinette stitch with decreases. The bonnet is finished with an i-cord edge along the back of the neck, which ends in two tie-strings.
The rib section is stretch and will expand and form to the child’s head.
