Digital chart and instructions in English (US Terms) with detailed photos for creating the Ankh pattern in mosaic crochet. This pattern uses the overlay mosaic crochet technique.

An ancient Egyptian symbol for eternal life, the Ankh is featured in this pattern as a border on a flowy mesh shawl, and as a simple repeating design for a wall hanging or pillow. The pattern includes instructions for the shawl with a chart for a border crocheted upside-down, as well as a standard right-side-up chart for creating things like blankets, apparel, bags and much more.

This is an intermediate level mosaic crochet pattern. The pattern is chart based and NOT written row by row. These charts have several special stitches, and each pattern includes a detailed photo tutorial of those stitches, as well as reference photos for completed rows. If you’re new to mosaic crochet there are links to video tutorials within the pattern to help teach you the technique and how to read a chart pattern.
