These cosy, graphic mittens are knit in the round using stranded colourwork for the heart motif.

Inspired by the awesome rock band, Heart, these Annie mittens will keep your fingers toasty while showing off all your fibre-loving.

This size will fit most adult women and while not designed for children, the sample has recently been tested in the snow by the kids.

You will need one skein of 4ply yarn in a semi-solid colour and a contrasting semi-solid mini-skein. It looks best when knit in hand-dyed wool.

But you can get a couple of pairs from two skeins, making your knitting love be known for friends.
