This hat design is an easy knit that can be worked up quickly in our Aran weight wool. Inspiration for this has come from its raspberry red colourway, and is so named after the wild, slow-growing bramble and its fruit found in arctic and alpine regions of Alaska, northern United States and Canada, northern Scandinavia and Finland, Russia, Poland, Estonia, Lithuania, Mongolia and northeastern China, amongst others. The bramble belongs to the Rose family and the dark red fruit considered a delicacy.

The wool used is a custom hand dyed colour way called “Arctic Bramble” on our Superwash Merino base and is available for purchase in our shop https://inglenook.org/shop/. All of our wool is mulesing free and responsibly sourced.
