This hat was inspired by a skein of Feederbrook Farm’s ENTROPY DK yarn that was purchased while attending the Rhinebeck Sheep and Wool this past fall. The yarn was selected not only for it’s beautiful color but also to be knit into a hat for a dear friend’s new baby on the way. I wanted a way to disperse the yarn’s beautiful colors throughout the hat, thus I divided the ball into three and Arlo’s Hat was born. With this budget friendly technique, you are able to enjoy the visual interest of color work while working from just one skein of yarn.
