Arrow of Dodona Cowl was inspired by the Percy Jackson book series Trials of Apollo.
The Arrow of Dodona was an arrow that Apollo found in the Grove of Dodona. It speaks in an Elizabethan accent and gives answers to Apollo, which are not prophetic. The answers vary from how to make a plague arrow to giving driving directions to the Cave of Trophonius.

The download includes 3 files:

Arrow of Dodona Original - this is the original pattern with a variety of modifications, incl. DK version, Faux Moebius, single loop and double loop.

Faded Version: Directions to use a 5 mini skeins set working light to dark and back to light.

Swift Arrow: Directions to work worsted weight and 2 stranded fingering weight faded version.

Arrow of Dodona Cowl is a lightweight and versatile pattern which brings this one single, lonely skein of fingering weight to shine.

The pattern includes a variety of optional modifications into a double loop cowl, faux moebius, DK weight Cowl or any other size.

Samples pictures show one of each style.

Finished Measurements for single loop cowl:
Approx. 29 in (74 cm) circumference, approx. 9 in (23 cm) width, blocked.

Yarn:
Lust by Alchemy Yarns of Transformation, Sport weight, 70% wool, 30% silk, 288 yards/50 grams, 1 skein in colorway 198c Dude Ranch.

Needles:
24 in (60 cm) size US 5 (3.75 mm) circular needles, one spare circular needle of similar size for provisional stitches.

Notions:
1 locking stitch marker, crochet hook for crochet provisional cast on, waste yarn for provisional cast on, tapestry needle for weaving in ends.
