From the pattern description: “Here is an unusual knittted ascot that wears well with suits and coats. It is made from 2 ounces of sportweight yarn or 3 ply fingering yarn of main color (MC) and one ounce of contrasting color (CC). Needed are number 3 knitting needles and an extra needle or stitch holder. The contrasting color will need to be divided into 2 balls.”
