This is the chunky version of the Åsne’s Sweater. Different from its previous version, the Åsne’s Chunky Sweater features puffy sleeves and a regular body length but with the same lovely and flattering ribbed yoke. Knit with the super soft Hip Wool and luxurious Lace, this is a fast and satisfying knit! It’s a super cozy option for fall and winter.

Body and sleeves are knit separately, bottom-up and in the round, then joined at the yoke. German Short Rows are incorporated in the back for a better neckline fit.

Sweater Measurements:
(after blocking)

Sleeve length: 41 (42, 44, 46, 49, 50, 52, 52, 53) cm.
Body length (underarm to CO edge): 30 (32, 34, 36, 38, 40, 42, 44, 47) cm.
Chest circumference: 99.5 (106, 112.5, 119, 125.5, 132, 138.5, 145, 151.5) cm.

This sweater looks its best with 10-15 cm of positive ease.

Yardage:
Please note that the use of mohair or lace weigh yarn is optional, but highly recommended. It looks amazing and gives a softer feel. If using a different aran/lace weight yarn than suggested, this is the approximate yardage you will need of each:

XS 670 yards / 613 meters
S 704 yards / 645 meters
M 810 yards / 740 meters
L 907 yards / 830 meters
XL 1012 yards / 926 meters
2XL 1144 yards / 1047 meters
3XL 1260 yards / 1154 meters
4XL 1374 yards / 1258 meters
5XL 1496 yards / 1368 meters

1 ball of Hip Wool = 50 g / 88 yds / 80 m
