Aspatria is the name given to the Staff of St. Patrick, and this cable reminded me of a Celtic motif. Coupled with the rich green of the yarn, the name seemed to fit perfectly.

Finished Size: S (M, L) 7” (8”, 9” around), unstretched

Yarn: Dragonfly Fibers Djinni Sock, 80% superwash Merino, 10% Cashmere, 10% Nylon, 420 yards/4 ounces (Sample knit in Dragon Wagon)

Needles: Set of 5 double-pointed needles or two circular needles size 2 US (2.75 mm), or size to obtain gauge

Gauge: 8 stitches per inch in stockinette, knit in the round.
