The stitch pattern on this cowl is such a delight to work! And it knits up fast using bulky yarn. It’s a great showcase for multicolored yarn, or use neutrals for a sophisticated look. Wear it as one long loop, or wrap twice around the neck for extra coziness. It is a beginner-friendly pattern.

Many thanks to the fabulous testers of this pattern, bossanova carmenlara60 ellyol eyenowhour mommaskids and turtleburger!
Here’s what some of them had to say:

  • From tester Bossanova: I’m thinking I may have knit over 50 projects this year, but this one and just a few others will really stand out in my mind from the knits of 2021. I love a simple but singularly effective and beautiful design--the size, the texture stitch, truly, it’s just a perfect knit and wonderful accessory.
  • From tester TurtleBurger: Lena, I loved this pattern. It was so well written and easy to understand. Not to mention the stitch pattern is beautiful.
