Aster Top is knitted top down, starting with the back yoke which is worked back and forth (while shaping shoulders and back neck with short rows), after that sts are picked up across the shoulders to form the front yoke, then the rest of the body is worked in stripes pattern in the round till it’s finished. Sts for the double knitted collar are then picked up, worked in the round, and finally sts for armhole edge are picked up and worked in double knitting.
The top has approx. 6-8 cm / 2.3-3.1 inches of intended positive ease at the bust area. The sizes 4-5 (5-6, 6-7, 7-8, 8-9, 9-10, 10-12, 12-14) years are designed to fit a chest circumference of 57 (59, 62, 64, 68, 72, 78, 82) cm / 22.4 (23.2, 24.4, 25.1, 26.7, 28.3, 30.7, 32.3) inches
