Worked in luxurious cashmere and merino yarn, this
pretty, half-pi shawl is worked from the top down. A border
of delicate lace patterns creates a dramatic effect
contrasting with garter stitch. Both charts and written
instructions are given for the lace patterns.

It is not necessary to cut the yarn on two row color
changes. Simply carry it loosely up the side of the work
twisting the yarns to avoid long floats.

Although this is a shawl, it is important to obtain gauge in
order to avoid running out of yarn and to have your
finished shawl match the size shown. Adjust needle size
as necessary to obtain gauge. The gauge given in the
pattern is a blocked gauge.

Required yardage per color, MC (green in photos)
approximately 290 yds (265m), CC (grey in photos)
approximately 450 yds (412m).
