Ayuthaya is a quick, very stylish, airy and light cowl to knit. It also is the perfect cover up for the warmer months.

Knitted in the round with decreases that actually add a design element as well as shaping.

Height 16.5”, 44” in circumference, though may vary greatly depending on yarn weights used. Due to the loose knitting style, blocking can add in either height or circumference as needed.

Yarn:
1 Layers yarn cake, 200 yards of varying textures, weights and colors, all arranged perfectly. Available at Yarnz2go

Or raid your stash for 10 portions of 20 yards each in lace, fingering, sport, DK, worsted and bulky yarns.

Notions:
US size 13 (9mm) circular needle 24” in length.
6 total stitch markers. 2 in one color (side marker), 4 in second color (decrease marker).
Darning needle or crochet hook for finishing.

Experience level: Advanced Beginner

Techniques: Knitting in the round and decreasing

Gauge: 10 sts and 14 rows in 4” of Stockinette stitch with sport weight yarn

Written pattern.

Enjoy knitting the Ayuthaya!
