This is simple Bonnet pattern #28 for knitting streight on 2 needles and stitching back at the end.
SIZING:
Made to fit babies Newborn (3-6 months, 9-18 months).
The bigger sizes will be given in brackets.
The size of the ties is approximately 12(30cm) or longer.
MATERIALS REQUIRED:
Yarn: DK Weight yarn or medium 8 ply weight yarn -
Newborn size = 1 oz (25 gr) 70 yards (65 m) approximately.
3-6 months = 1.5 oz (35 gr) 100 yards (90 m) approximately.
9-18 months = 2 oz (50 gr) 140 yards (130 m) approximately.
An angora or mohair blend yarn will give you nice “fluffy” halo effect.
A pair of US6/4.0 mm needles. Needle sizes are recommendations only; always use needle size necessary to achieve given gauge.

GAUGE:
In stockinette stitch (knit one row, purl one row), 9 st by 15 rows is approximately 2 x 2”. This bonnet is slightly stretchy.
SKILL LEVEL: Beginner.
