This baby cardigan starts at the neck and is worked downward through the Yoke. The Body is then separated from the sleeves and worked down to the hem. The sleeves are worked in the round using double-point needles. There is a small amount of lacework in the Yoke and the Hem. There are no seams in the cardigan, but the lower edge is turned under and sewn on the wrong side to provide the picot edging.

The directions are written for 3 baby sizes, and there are also charts for the lacework repeat areas. The floral pattern is an effect of Hayfield Baby Blossom DK yarn; the pattern can also be made in a solid color but will not have the floral effect.
