The Backbarrier Wrap has a scaly appearance because of the V-like cable pattern across the fabric. This wrap is worked in two mirror-image halves, and the pieces are grafted together seamlessly in the center.

Yarn Lorna’s Laces Sportmate (70% superwash Merino, 30% Outlast viscose; 270 yd 247 m/3½ oz 100 g): #308 Huron, 4 hanks.

Needles Size 4 (3.5 mm). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions Marker (m); cable needle (cn); stitch holder; tapestry needle.
