Skill Level: Intermediate

• This pattern includes a vertical-carry color change in the blanket. To make this simpler, I’ve included instructions for the technique in the pattern, with more detailed images and instructions on my website. You can also choose to use your own version of a vertical-carry or break the yarn and weave in the ends.
• This pattern includes stitch increases, decreases, and color changes.

Suggested Tools:

• 3.25 mm hook (may vary based on gauge and personal preference)
• 4.25 mm hook (may vary based on gauge and personal preference)
• Embroidery/yarn needle
• Stitch Markers
• Scissors

Materials:

• Worsted/Aran Yarn (8 wpi) in multiple colors
• Approx. 12 inches of white yarn or embroidery floss for the eye catchlight.
• Toy filling (for the head, nose, and tail)

Final Dimensions:

• Blanket Diameter: approx. 18 inches
• Head Width (without ears): approx. 3.25 inches
• Head Height (without ears): approx. 3 inches
• Ear Length: approx. 4 inches
