Just a few rows of colorwork transform a simple cowl into something spectactular. Knit in the round, with colorwork both charted and written out. You’ll need about 150 yds. of the main color and about 50 yds. of the contrast color.

Finished dimensions: Approx. 24” circumference and 4 1/2” tall

You may use any bind-off method that you wish, but I had best results using a sewn bind-off (often called the Elizabeth Zimmerman bind off).

Do take the time to steam block the cowl. Your colorwork will look sharper and the edging will lay flat.
