This pattern is for a very basic plain round neck, raglan sleeve cardigan with 2 variations,textured squares or lacey, to make it more interesting and suitable for boy or girl
The sleeves are knit first to the armhole ,then the body is knit all in one to the armhole where the sleeves are introduced and it is then knit all in one piece to the neck. The front bands are knit after completion.
Then to finish off the set there is cute pair of pull-on bootees with doubled over cuff.
This is my essential go-to set for all newborns.
