  • Certain parts of this pattern (the embellishments on the body) were modified from HanDIY’s BB-8 amigurumi tutorial. It can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nVAI3YQSTdc

  • This is the first pattern that I’ve ever written so if any things are unclear, please let me know! I want to improve and make better patterns in the future :)

  • You are allowed to make this amigurumi project and sell it for profit on a small scale.

  • Please share photos of your creations! I would love to see them!!

  • This pattern is meant to be worked in the round (You may alternatively want to work BB-9’s head in “rows” and slip stitch at the end of each row to avoid the misaligned grey lines)

  • For the head, certain rounds will be crocheted into the front loops or back loops only. This is to emulate the “conical” shape and flat ends on the top and bottom of BB-9’s head. If you choose to sc under both loops, be aware that the shape of his head will appear rounder.

  • When stuffing BB-9’s head, you may want to slightly understuff his head. This will help the head keep its flap top and bottom. Overstuffing the head will result in a bump on top and on the bottom.
