This beginner friendly tank design includes a boxy fit with deep armholes and sleek, stockinette double-folded edging. This tank is comfy worn oversized over a bathing suit, or stylish fitted over a turtleneck in the winter. Regardless of the season, this tank will keep your beach-loving heart warm.

Sizes
Finished garment measurements are as follows: 30, 34, 38(42, 46, 50)54, 58, 62”/76, 86.5, 96.5(107, 117, 127)137, 147.5, 157.5cm.

The sample is shown with 5”/10cm of positive ease on a 33” bust. This top is amazing to be worn with closer to 10”/20cm of positive ease for a loose, boxy fit, or several inches of negative for a sexy, fitted top.

Materials
You will need at least nine stitch markers, waste yarn or extra needles to hold live stitches, darning needle, scissors, measuring tape, and your super amazing body.

Techniques
You will need to know how to do a provisional cast on, knit in the round, decrease, work German short rows, hold stitches, bind off, block, weave in ends, and have fun.

Suggested Yarn
Laser from thelittlewolfknits: 100% superwash merino, single ply fingering weight, (400yd/424m per 100g).

The sample used one skein of “Prongs” on laser.

Any light fingering should work – just make sure to adjust to get gauge.
-Alternatives include:
o Knit Picks Stroll
o Cascade Yarns Heritage

Suggested Needles)
Main Needle: US 5 (3.75mm)
But use whatever needle you need to achieve gauge!
(Or just do the math and do your own thing)

Gauge
24 stitches x 32 rows = 4”/10cm stockinette knit in the round and blocked. When swatching, remember to cast on more stitches than you’re intending to measure so that you can get an accurate measurement (the end and beginning stitches tend to be looser). I recommend using this tutorial to start and finish the swatch for the most accurate measurements.
