Bead Isle is a delightful pattern, making use of beads in the same way that you’d create Fair Isle motifs. You can use either DK weight (5.5 stitches per inch) or worsted-weight (5 stitches per inch) yarn, and you can make it slouchy or not. Use either a solid or a variegated yarn, but be sure that the size 5 beads are highly contrasting.

Sizing runs from 13” to 24”, depending on the yarn you choose.

This project is fun to do, and if you’ve never worked with beads before, you’ll be amazed at how easy it is. There’s a bead tutorial at reallyclear.com.

Pattern is 25% off until the end of September, no code required.
