Beanie Aflame is a beanie-style hat featuring a pretty lace stitch pattern that forms flame-like motifs growing from a ribbed edging. The hat is worked from the brim up to the crown. The hat is designed to fit an average sized woman’s head with approximately 22” (56cm) circumference. The flame stitch pattern itself is stretchy, and the pattern is enhanced by being slightly stretched in wear. The pattern includes both charted and full written instructions for the flame pattern.

This pattern is also available as part of the Aflame Collection e-book, which represents a significant saving on buying the three patterns separately. No refunds will be made if you buy an individual pattern and then wish to buy the eBook afterwards.

You will need:
up to 185 yds fingering weight yarn
2.75mm (US2) knitting needles for working in the round (or one size smaller than needed for pattern tension)
3mm (US2.5) knitting needles for knitting in the round (including small circumferences), or size needed to achieve pattern tension
1 stitch marker
Darning needle

You need to be able to: work in the round, work common increases and decreases from either written or charted instructions (pattern is both written and charted - it is not necessary to read charts to work this pattern)
