Beanie Hat - “Wickerl”
I created this beanie with natural colours and one bright
contrast colour to bring out more vividness. A hat for
animal lovers. It is a special design - I made one for my
dear cousin and the other for her husband. They love to
go hiking with their dog “Wickerl” in the Bavarian Alps.
I hope they will wear their hats when you are hiking in
the alps, so you can recognize them.
Knitting technique
Fair Isle, stranded colourwork, jacquard,
two colours per round.
The cap crown is worked in three different decreases
(k2tog, ssk, cdd) marked in the chart, which ensure the
dominance of the strips
