Unisex socks with mirrored cables and ribbing which ensures the socks fit nicely.

The pattern is written both cuff down and toe up for magic loop, but can easily be modified for double pointed needles. Both written and charted instructions are provided.

I’ve been let to know that the cable pattern is from a stitch pattern book by Hitomi Shida.

Yarn:

100 g of fingering weight yarn, app. 400 m (437 yds)/100g. The sample socks were knitted with Cascade Heritage Silk, 400 m/437 yds per 100g.

Needles etc:

2.5-2.75 mm/ US 1.5-2 circular needle 100 cm/ 40” long.
Cable needle, tapestry needle for weaving in ends.

Gauge:

36 sts x 48 rows = 10 x 10 cm/ 4” x 4” in stockinette stitch after blocking.
