Bernard, the bearded dragon is knit from head to tail in one piece. Short rows create the eye ridge, and various types of bobbles create the crest around its head and side scales on its body. The legs are knit separately in two pieces, upper part and lower part with I-cord for the digits.

Finished Toy Size: 17” (44 cm) tall from head to tail.

Sample Yarn: Cascade Superwash 220 (100% Superwash Wool; 220 yards 200 meters/ 3.5 oz 100 g: 1 skein each; 853 Desert Sun – MC, 810 Teal - C1.

Yardage: 170 – 180 yards / 156 – 165 meters of MC and 40 yards / 37 meters of C1.

Optional is to knit a cowboy hat for Bernard. The instructions for the hat are included.
