Binki the Bunny is a pattern especially designed for beginners to amigurumi or crocheted toy making. It includes a 4 1/2 page Tips & Tricks information sheet for beginners - all the things I would have liked to know when I was a beginner!

The pattern has lots of photos and extra detail to explain the abbreviations as you go along. It should help you learn to read patterns too.

Binki is made with minimal sewing in mind as this is the part that beginners struggle with the most. The body is made all in one, with the arms crocheted on. The only sewing is to attach the ears and tail.

ANY yarn can be used to make Binki but if you use the same yarn as me she will be approx. 22.5cm (9”) tall. I used nearly one 50g ball of Catona for the main yarn and much smaller amounts for the other colours.

The Tips & Tricks sheet is written with lots of headings for quick access to the part you need to know.

Binki is fun to make and she’s a real cutie!
