This neck warmer has a beautiful fair isle pattern of birds sitting on branches.

This is a quick knitting project perfect for using up leftover yarn.

The pattern includes instructions for one size with measurements of 22” (56cm) circumference and a length of 8” (20cm).

The neck warmer is worked in the round with 3.5mm needles.

The sample was knit with double knit (DK) weight yarn from Old Maiden Aunt Yarns. This yarn is particularly soft as it is 80% superfine alpaca and 20% silk.

The sample was knit with the colours Buttermint (yellow) and Bean Nighe (green) yarn, one skein of each. However there are endless colour combination possibilities. It is recommended that when choosing two colours that they have a strong contrast so that the fair isle pattern is more visible.

This pattern is also available as a part of an ebook ‘Neck Warmer Collection by MunroSisters3’ available on Ravelry.
