The knit & fulled Birdie Abode is a whimsical little house for the birds and other small creatures! Using 100% wool yarn, you’ll knit a cozy home ideal for small songbirds and then full your birdhouse using a washing machine, making it sturdy to withstand the elements. After fulling, you can add embellishments for more whimsy if you like.

This pattern includes a variety of photographs and illustrations. There are also a host of ideas on how to customize your Birdie Abode. Detailed information on where to hang your Birdie Abode, as well as who some potential visitors may be are also included.

Yarn
MC - Patons Classic Wool Roving, 100% Pure New Wool, 120 yd/109 m, 3.5 oz/100 g, in your choice of color
CC - Patons Classic Wool Roving, 100% Pure New Wool, 120 yd/109 m, 3.5 oz/100 g, in your choice of a contrasting color to the main color
NOTE: If you use the suggested yarn, you will have enough materials to knit two Birdie Abodes - simply swap the roof and house colors for the second birdhouse :)
