The Bison Beanie was inspired by the iconic National Park Service arrowhead logo that you see when you enter any of the US National Parks! It reminds me of my trip to Yellowstone and those little bison just make me smile.

The hat is written for an adult size and is knitted on size US 6 (4.0 mm) and US 8 (5.0 mm) circular or double-pointed needles. The colorwork instructions are both written and charted.

The Bison Beanie useds three highly-contrasting colors of worsted or Aran weight yarn and the samples are done in Yarnaceous Fibers Cerato Worsted. She has even made 2 yarn kits especially for the pattern!
