This is a pattern suggested as an edging for sheets and pillowcases.

It is worked in 3 sections.

The middle section is worked first. It is 7 rows with rows 2 through 6 worked for the length needed.

The heading section is worked onto the middle section. It is worked down the length of the middle section.

The scalloped edge is worked onto the opposite side of the middle section.

Once a thread size is selected for the edging, a hook that works well with the thread size is used.
