December 2021 new release pattern for the 2021 Afghan Club. You may purchase this pattern separately or as part of the 2021 Afghan Club which will give you access to 12 brand new designs as they are added to the club eBook each month of 2021.

About the Pattern: This beautiful, wintry blanket is made in a “join as you go” fashion and is made up of only one snowflake motif. The motifs are joined together alternating right and wrong textured sides to create the illusion of different motifs. The gaps between the snowflakes are filled by working a few rounds directly onto the blanket, so although there are ends to weave in, the blanket itself requires no sewing and is seamless.

Finished Size: Each motif measures approx. 6” wide. Sample blanket measured 48” x 60”.

Materials:
• DK or light worsted weight yarn in natural – sample used 100% New Zealand wool from Palliser Ridge – approx. 1125 grams (3200 yards)
• Crochet hook size H (5.0 mm)
• Yarn needle

Skill level: Intermediate
Stitches used include ch, sl st, sc, dc, fpsc, fpdc, bpdc

Pattern is written in standard American crochet terms.
