Blend your favorite two colors into one happening cowl. This sample was knitted with a Yarnz2go knit kit in two yummy colors “Nougat” and “Lettuce”. Good enough to eat, right?

In the round knitting with ribbing at beginning and end. The marled/blended technique in the middle is made easy when knitting with the Textured cakes. The weight throughout this cowl never changes, so no bulk gets added….

The cowl measures 7.75” tall and 25” in circumference as shown. Of course it can be made longer, as you wish. The knit kits have more than enough yardage. You could also use different yarn weights as well, perhaps with worsted weights to make a bulky version for the winter.

Yarn
2 Textured yarn cakes holding 250 yards each in a light fingering weight, when held double throughout the project, they make a sport weight yarn.
30% Linen, 70% Cotton in a thick and thin textured yarn.
As shown: C1 Lettuce & C2 Nougat.
About 135 yards used of each yarn.

Notions needed
US size 4 (3.5 mm) circular needle 16” (41 cm) in length
1 Stitch marker
Darning needle or crochet hook for finishing

Gauge:
8 sts and 14 rows in 2” in Stockinette stitch, blocked.

Techniques used
Knitting in the round, purling, blending/marling/changing colors, ribbing, stretchy bind off and blocking.
