Special stitch used for this project- Beaded single crochet

You will need:

• 150 yards of cotton twine or DK/light worsted weight yarn

• 2.75 mm hook

• 8 mm wooden beads- 161 pieces

• wooden rod- 8 mm in diameter,
11 inches long

• tapestry needle and scissors

This project can be done with any DK or light worsted weight yarn. After experimenting with different types of materials. I came to the conclusion that cotton twine, also knows as baker’s twine works best. It gives the finished project nice macrame feel. I found great affordable twine on Amazon- Cotton Twine by Tenn Well (it comes single or in a twin pack).

The finished piece is 12 inches long (without the tassel trim) and 10 inches wide.
