The design is knit in pieces and seamed; first the back piece is knit, then the fronts are worked separately and seamed to the sides and shoulders. Ribbing is the picked up on the bottom and neckline edges and sleeves are knit flat and seamed into the armholes. Slipped stitch patterns create a varied fabric that has a woven look and bohemian feel. Mosaic knitting color work sections are featured on the front and back pieces adding to the free-spirited vibe. This is a great funky, cozy layering sweater! Knit up in chunky weight Brooklyn Tweed Quarry yarn on large needles it is a quick, enjoyable, and satisfying knit!
