Pattern is easy to follow as it is written step by step, row by row with beginners in mind. It is knitted flat in one piece from forehead towards the back. Crown is shaped by working short rows.

4mm DPNS to knit the laces

1. Aran/Worsted yarn such as Drops Air 50g/150m, 1 skein for all sizes
2. Sport weight yarn such as Drops Baby Merino 50g/175m held with Aran weight such as Drops Brushed Alpaca Silk 25g/140m, 1 thread of each held together, 1 skein of each or any yarn you like that fits into the gauge
