Description of Pattern
The Botetourt Beanie is worked from the bottom up. The ribbed brim is worked on smaller needles; the body of the hat is worked with the larger needles in a cable stitch pattern called Double Honeycomb. It contains four stitch cable crosses (2/2 Left Cross and 2/2 Right Cross), with little two stitch cable crosses inside (1/1 Left Cross and 1/1 Right Cross), giving a little “dimple” inside each four stitch cable cross.
