“I wanted a fingerless mitt that would celebrate the holiday season and that would cherished the memories of my family and me gathering “tips” to make Christmas Wreaths to sell. It is a fun knit that includes knits, purls, twisted stitches and cables. There is a little bit of everything in this mitt. I have added both the written
pattern and charts. I hope you enjoy the process and project. Thank you so much for purchasing my pattern and a little bit of my childhood.”

This pattern fits an average size woman’s hand but if you would like a large or smaller mitt you can go up or down a needle size to get a better fit. I have used worsted weight yarn that has a good stitch definition to showcase the cables, lace and twisted stitches.

I wanted a mitt that is fairly ease to knit but has an elegant and intricate finished look and takes under 50 grams. I am very happy with the outcome and I sure hope you enjoy it also.

I hope you choose to cast it on for your Christmas eve cast on and enjoy the story that is included of one of my family’s Christmas traditions.
