In August of 2016, I started seeing these delicious-looking Caron Cakes filling my newsfeed on Facebook. I resisted for about a week, and finally had to get some for myself. For about another week I considered a variety of uses. Self-striping yarn, 80% acrylic/20% wool, recommended to hand wash and dry flat. Sweaters kept coming to mind, but how to keep a symmetrical look while using self-striping yarn? Finally, inspiration struck.

These instructions will explain how my XL jacket was made. Amount of yarn will vary based on size of finished sweater, type of yarn, and hook size used. This is a make-to-fit pattern, so pick the yarn and hook that inspires you! This pattern is very adaptable to size, so relax and have fun with it!
