This pattern includes patterns for both the blanket AND the dachshund appliqué. The appliqué can also be purchased separately on Ravelry. The blanket and dachshund can be made of any yarn you would like. Adjust your hook size as necessary according to the guidelines on the yarn label. The weight of the yarn you use and the size of the hook will determine your final project size. You can place any appliqué design you want on the blanket if you have something else you’d like to use rather than the dachshund. But who doesn’t love a sausage dog? :)
