Lovely summer boat-neck ( also called ballet neck ) style top with dropped cap sleeves.

The open Brigid’s Cross Lace shows a bit of skin, while the peppercorn pattern worked on a stocking stitch background offers modesty. The eyelette cable ribbing adds to the feminine aspect of this relatively simple knit.

The back and front are made alike. Once the pieces are made, the shoulder seams are grafted using the Kitchener Stitch for a smooth finish. All ready for warmer days!

The top shown is in size medium and was made in the shade called Eider, no 112.

A step by step photo tutorial for the Brigid’s Cross Lace stitch is included in the pattern and on the website.

Knit with joy!
