This pattern is for a quick-knit life-size banana, an easy and satisfying one-hour project. This is a beginner-friendly project that calls for basic knitting technique, as well as a couple of short-row segments. The finished object measures about 7” in length.

The project calls for simple increases, decreases, and seaming. Two of the rows call for wrapping and turning. Swiss darning and/or straight stitches are optional embroidery techniques.

Materials include poly-fill stuffing, US 6 (4.00mm) needles, and Heavy Worsted or Aran weight yarn.

Can be easily converted for knitting in the round.
