CONSTRUCTION

US notation is used throughout. The dress is worked top down. Starting at the collar, which is worked in double crochet, the bodice is worked in DC filet crochet with increases at each side and decorative spots. Front and back panels are worked separately until underarm depth is reached then joined in the round and worked straight until the waist. Increases are then worked at each side until hip width and then straight until the hem, which is finished with a 4-stitch bobble decorative edging.

You have the choice of placing your own spots or following a guide which is supplied as a chart.
